JERSEY COWS & CALVES - Please contact us to see what Heifers and Cows we may have available
These lovely ladies are the heart of our farm. I don’t know what we would do if we didn’t have the cows to milk…. Be lost I imagine!
The milk is so delicious and everything you can make with the milk and rich cream is pretty good too! Click here to learn more about Jersey cattle.

We develop our jersey cows on grass and they are A2A2 cows. We do our best to grow the heifers to be solid, easy keeping cows on grass, hay and good minerals.
We raise and sell a small number of family cows to other people every year. Part of the fun is training another family how to milk and care for their new cow.

Some benefits that I have seen from owning a milk cow:
Jersey cow milk has greater nutritional value than a regular glass of milk. Learn about why here.
These cows produce A2 milk. This milk is SO good for you! Learn more about A2 Milk Here.
Almost everything (chickens, turkey, dogs, cats, bum lambs, bottle calves) drinks or eats (clabber it) milk! So if you have extra— share it with something else you are raising, you can save lots on expensive feed.
You can use milk as fertilizer for your garden— use the whey for your fruit trees.
The demand for fresh milk is high, and it’s so good to have some to sell or barter, making your homestead even more sustainable.
Jersey cows make you feel special and all the other critters on the farm gather round at milking time. 💜

Space is limited, so if you are looking to add a trained milk cow to your homestead, you will definitely need to let me know as soon as possible.
We also sell some bottle calves from our jersey cows. We will have calves available this spring— so if you want to raise your own from any of our Jersey sweethearts, let me know.
I have some yearling jersey heifers available right now. They have all been A2A2 tested and confirmed. Each of the heifers should mature into a great family cow.
Our heifers start at $700 and go up from there. Trained cows in lactation are $2000 and up just depending on the cow.
